Civ 7 - NEW Patch Update, HUGE Rebalance & More Resources!
1,043Welcome to Civilization 7's April Update - this month we're seeing the launch of Patch 1.2! As Firaxis outlined today, Civ 7 Pathc 1.2.0 changes reosurces by randomizing them, splitting them into distinct hemispheres, and adding 10 new ones (as well as recategorizing some as treasure resources, and buffing treasure resources more broadly!). FOOD receives a big buff, particularly in the late game where population growth has been unleashed! They claim this will have a decent impact on food civs and leaders - potentially rebalancing the whole game at least slightly in their favor. Time will tell.
On top of this, many legacy features return like one more turn, teams multiplayer, and various quality of life improvements that civ fans rightly expect.
