85Partly as a challenge, and partly because I've grown accustomed to a massive Abbasid blob on my maps, I've decided to take up the goal of restoring the Abbasid Caliphate to a position of world power.
Based on the achievement of the same name, I start as the Abbasid Caliph in the Stamford Bridge start, a mere duke-tier vassal to the Seljuk Sultanate. From humble beginnings, I will conquer my way to an emperor title. Since I'm already the religious leader of the Sunni world, I might as well become the ruler of it!
