Clair Obscur (Solo Character, No Attributes, No Lumina) Ep. 12 - Petank, Mime, Francois
4Most areas will have a Petank and Mime enemy that can be pretty tricky. I've skipped recording most so far because they were either very easy, or I couldn't kill the Petank in time.
Petank is an enemy that will flee in 3 turns. So trying to go at it with a solo character with no speed stats is typically not going to work out. It's not a hard enemy per se, it's just hard to kill quickly enough. Right now, Lune's the only character that can really get the job done I think. I used all of my weapon upgrade materials on her, so yeah.
The mime is pretty much the same everywhere. It'll pretty much always use the same attacks, it just gets stronger and has more health. The trick to it is that it has really high defense until you break it the first time. Then it dies pretty quickly, so attacks that fill the break gauge are pretty good here. Parries are also good, but I'm pretty bad at it.
Francois is a heavy hitter. He does about 95% of my health as damage, so it's much safer to just dodge rather than try to parry. But me being me, I'm going to try anyway. You can use the flashes to time it. On the third flash you parry. EZPZ.
After this fight we get access to Esquie and can get through the jagged rocks on the world map. Out there I picked up Energizing start 1 and I also got Energizing Start 3 in this area. So Now I can manipulate my AP a bit if i need.
