The Dragon Warrior series makes its debut on the PlayStation 2 with Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. You can play as a young guardsman who must fight against a curse that he is mysteriously immune to. Characters in the game are designed by the creator of the Dragonball characters and are cel-shaded to provide an "anime" feel. The game is set in a large 3D world ravaged by the effects of the curse.

Part III Note: Well, I did some edit in certain scene where I just speed up the video (mostly because they isn't much a point to see that scene again). Basically, you fight your first boss battle and found out more about the incident of the main character and also the crystal ball incident. I do note the voice acting is actually pretty good in this game. You notice it near the end when Valentina talk to her dad. Overall, good video.
