Class(ic) Introductions: The Kineticist [Rage of Elements - Pathfinder 2e]
Hello Travelers & Tourists,
Welcome back to Class(ic) Introductions, a series that takes a "big picture" view of what different classes in TTRPGs have to offer players at the gaming table! Today, we're taking a look at the newest class in Pathfinder 2nd Edition - The Kineticist!
The Kineticist occupies a strange niche in Pathfinder 2e, not perfectly fitting the mold of a Martial or Magical character, but solidly filling the role of Blaster or Striker in any adventuring party! I personally really enjoy the 2nd Edition update of the Kineticist & consider it to be a fantastic addition to the system!
Following the normal pattern for this series, we will be examining the Kineticist through the lens of seven specific questions:
1) What is the Class Role of the Kineticist?
2) How Complex is the Kineticist to Build & Play?
3) What are the Key Terms & Concepts for the Kineticist?
4) What are the Strengths of the Kineticist?
5) What are the Weaknesses of the Kineticist?
6) What Build Options does the Kineticist offer?
7) How can I "Get the Most" out of the Kineticist?
