Classification UHC - Experiment 5 #1 - High Garrett
Welcome to: Classification UHC Experiment #5: Reddit Debuts! That's right folks Classification is finally back after like super long!
Context
Whether we're organising the 6th season of our recorded round, hosting our 200th game on a Minecraft server or posting crappy, trendy memes on discord, we all have one thing in common: We're part of this crazy community! Let's be honest, we've had our ups and downs as a community, and anyone who drops by may not have a 5 star hotel experience, but we're somehow all here together - that's probably the crazy part!
We've all joined the community at one point of time, and many have come and gone (and come again...and gone again....and...you get the point). Here at S&S Corporations we actually had the idea of bringing different groups of people together - the veterans who played UHC when horses weren't a thing, to newcomers who come in expecting lapis lazuli to be needed for enchantments every game. The question is: From which period of time did the most skilled players start to join the community?
Before you start complaining that you can't just generalise, we're doing it anyways! And you don't have a say about it. So sit back, relax and root for the group you most associate with!
Gamemodes
The main gamemode was Scenario Stackup where each episode's gamemode corresponds to a year in the community: 2012 isVvanilla, 2013 is Krenzinator, etc. to represent how we've evolved in terms of gameplay as a community. Of course not all the gamemodes are perfectly arranged/aligned according to when they were created, but basically we showcased the gamemodes that really changed the way we played as the community has progressed!
Here's the list:
2012: Vanilla
2013: Krenzinator
2014: Cutclean
2015: Blood Diamonds
2016: Best PvE
2017: Rewarding Longshots
2018: Bleeding Sweets
We also added ore limiter in terms of redstone to prevent everybody from having full diamond!!!
And of course it was a Classified Tiered To4 - we put everybody into 4 tiers based on their PvP skills, and then we arranged them according to the year they joined the community, hence the name "Reddit Debuts"!
Hypothesis
To find out which period of time in the community saw the debut of the best players in the community.
