The game matched me with 1 person on our 10-person multiplayer Saga world, but we charged forward, beating Jotnar and Ancients. We were trying to get to the last Ancient boss (Jorgmunder Serpent), but neither of us got the 1-day warning that the "Jotun is close to your village", and neither of us got the imminent warning that the "Jotun is in your village". I happened to travel back to the village when the message popped up that our village gate had collapsed, and to my surprise, there was a Jotun in the village. I first sounded the alarm because I saw the notification that the other guy was still lighting beacons across the map. After gauging that I wouldn't have enough power to take it down before it started burning our Ygdrisill tree, I bailed. You can see as I'm taking the Bifrost out of the map that the Jotunn has already taken 50% of our tree's life in 10 seconds. I don't think the random guy was able to teleport back and extract in the next 10 seconds. He lost everything when the world burned after I left.
