Time for something a little different!

Clock Tower is a point-and-click(-and-RUN) survival horror adventure game for the Super Famicom. It was never localized for markets outside Japan, but Aeon Genesis deemed it worthy for a translation. There are already dozens of videos for this game on Youtube, but hey, if you've never heard of it, you might not see it until it pops up in your subscriptions, so...enjoy ;)

There are nine different endings based on a handful of criteria. In this video (and in part 2) you'll see the 'least favorable' one, called the 'chicken ending' by some, complete with the title screen and intro. Thankfully there is a quickstart mode that skips all the backstory you will have already grown tired of by the time you unlock your first ending, so in upcoming playthroughs I'll leave out the intro.

Anyway, this game has excellent sound direction, and even aside from that its power lies in creating a palpable sense of unease as you travel through the mansion that mostly remains in pristine condition yet often seems derelict and decrepit. I don't want to spoil anything so early though, so sit back and enjoy the atmosphere :p
