CLOUD 9 DRAWS! "This is Me" [PRIDE 2019]
47Spoiler alert: I'm not straight.
This video is something that I've gone back and forth about posting for a little while now. I wanted to make sure that before I did something like this, I was sure in how I felt and who I was. However, despite all my questioning, exploring, learning, and understanding, there were always those thoughts and ideas that I always found myself coming back to; the ones that I couldn't shake.
So while I am still learning new things about myself and the world around me, I have recently had time to really think about who I am, and I've made some decisions. I have decided that I shouldn't make myself anxious over trying to find a perfect label for myself that I don't even fully understand yet. I can be myself without labels. Humans, gender, sexuality, and preference shouldn't have to have a label. Yes, labels are fine and totally valid if they help you, but they shouldn't limit you or force you into a feelings box either. So I have decided that I don't need a label to be allowed to identify a certain way. I can have labels, but I can also have freedom to explore and try out identities too. I can be myself, and that's the greatest 'label' there is.
So I decided to showcase who I am in the only way I really know how: my imagination and my OC's. Each of the OC's and symbols featured here represents me in some way, be it aspects of my personality, past lives I've lived, and especially who I want to be now. A better explanation of what each little thing/OC represents will be available on my DeviantArt when the picture goes up there.
Thank you all for being so awesome to me every single day. You mean the world to me and I seriously feel like I'm living a dream. But thanks to you, it's real. Thank you for letting me be myself.
