cloudy (Any%) in 0:24.58 [WR]
This is a speedrun of the Intellivision AD&D: Cloudy Mountain remake by amedlock. You can download the project here (https://github.com/amedlock/cloudy) and run it in Godot Engine (MUST BE VERSION 3.0). Achieved on 4/3/21.
Just like the original Cloudy Mountain, there is yet another broken skip on the overworld map. It turns out there are passable grid cells below the bottom margin of the map which you could theoretically use to bypass everything and head straight to Cloudy Mountain. There are few map layouts where this is actually possible, however. If a river or wall extends out of the bottom margin, it will block you from moving all the way through so we have to reset until that isn't the case. Once in Cloudy Mountain, we immediately head for the bottom-right corner, as there will always be half a crown there. Along the way, we shoot arrows randomly in an attempt to lure out the other winged dragon and if successful, that will reveal where the second crown half is. At a total grid size of 64 tiles per mountain, it's rare that things line up as well as they did in this run!
