While not actually from the same developer or part of the same series, Cocoon is a puzzle exploration game by the lead designer of Inside and Limbo, so I figured I should check it out. Its… its a lot of things, and while maybe not directly inspired by them, it felt strikingly familiar to a lot of other games I had previous played, and by the end of my first playthrough I had some THINGS I wanted to say about Cocoon. What it was, and what I wanted it to be, and ultimately how it left me feeling underwhelmed but hopeful for what might come. Much like, oh, idk, Limbo and Inside. Huh, funny how that keeps happening.
