CoD MW Warzone Victory | Proper Positioning Makes Up for Bad Nerves During a Clutch 1v1

27 Oct 2020 - Yet another Warzone victory. Playing trios with my friend JV Daisy and his wife Obiwandonut9. Sorry, I wasn't streaming so I didn't get to capture the whole match, but I did manage to get the ending as our team held down the tower area near Park on the south side of Downtown. We started off actually in Quarry of all places, completed 3 recons and then advanced up near the final circle in Park. I get pushed while picking up my ghost loadout and we quickly destroy the aggressors. The rest of the lobby whittles themselves down on the outskirts of the circle while we maintain our high ground position. Three teams are ultimately left, they fight each other while we fight them. The circle eventually ends up giving us a friendly shift and the remaining team is forced to push us. I am left with a difficult choice... to quickly advance to high ground which will almost assuredly secure the victory and to turn and fight the enemy; I decide to make the higher percentage play by securing the dominant position but as a result I'm not able to help JV Daisy who gets snuck up on. Two players die apiece and it comes down to a 1v1--myself vs the last enemy. As a side note, I am normally not affected by nerves, especially in 1v1 situations, but for some reason my nerves were actually bothering me and you can see my hands were a little shaky as a miss a ton of shots on the last guy and almost choke (it also didn't help that I just changed my sensitivity the game before lol. I wasn't foreseeing this type of situation in the near future). Fortunately for me, his aim was equally as poor and my jitteriness was forgiven.
