Commodities Corner: Oil prices fall; Gold falls for the 6th straight session | Global Market News
*Oil prices fell further on Wednesday and Brent Crude is at ~93.5/bbl. Oil prices extended steep losses from the prior sessions given the concerns that a new COVID outbreak in China and the worsening global economic outlook.
*Gold prices Continue to traded below $1,700 an ounce and has declined for the sixth straight session. Prices are pressured by a strong dollar and elevated Treasury yields.
*Zinc prices dropped on profit booking amid a chorus of hawkish Federal Reserve speakers buoyed the dollar.
*Aluminum dropped as concerns about an economic recession and manufacturing slowdown took a front seat.
