Complete in Box Plays - D2 (Dreamcast) - Part 1
A few years ago, we tried out D on the Sega Saturn. D is a point and click adventure game (that's timed! yeehaw!), and, honestly, I find it to be pretty good. It's rough around the edges, and pretty tough to figure out what you need to do at times, but for a point-and-click on console, it isn't bad. The graphics were pretty good at the time, the story was... interesting, and the voice acting was even more interesting. You can find our D (Saturn) playthrough on this same playlist.
Now it's time to check out D2 on the Dreamcast. New system, new D game.
I'll have a lot to say about this game as we go on, but right off the bat, it's clearly not like D (Saturn). Although there are some point-and-click aspects (mainly when you are in small buildings), much of the game is a 3rd person adventure game... with some first person shooter mixed it... hunting... horror... and a little bit of everything. Overall, I have enjoyed D2 quite a bit so far.
Apologies that this video is mostly cutscenes --- we get less of these and more gameplay moving forward. More to come!
