We're back at it with more Overkill! Honestly, this game is pretty chill, all things considered.

As we find out in the 3rd stage, using the assault rifle is essentially cheating. I mean, look at the difference with the enemies from when I use it and when I don't. Having one person with shotgun, and one with assault rifle is an E-Z experience.

I guess that would be my one major 'complaint' so far. While HotD 1-3 are, for the most part, too hard (especially 3...), Overkill is, so far, a bit too easy. I will add the asterisk that we are playing on 2 player (maybe 1 player is harder) and we are using money we earn to upgrade and purchase equipment. We did not at any point change the standard difficulty on this game --- I'm sure we can make it harder by using initial equipment, etc etc, but the base game so far has been just a bit easy. We'll see if that continues.

I honestly liked level 1 and 2 pretty good... 3 was okay. We'll be back next time and we'll see if the next couple of levels right the ship!
