I've wanted to do this Let's Play for a long time -- I consider Code Veronica to be the most under appreciated Resident Evil game. It's not hated by any means, but it's generally forgotten when considering the best in the series.

It's a bit of a controversial opinion, but Resident Evil 3 is my favorite, followed by Resident Evil 1 (Remake or original, both are great), but I would put Code Veronica right after that (sorry for the RE2 lovers out there, I just don't love it like yall).

Code Veronica is the last of the original, fixed camera style RE games. It is definitely a changing of the guard - the next major release to come out was RE4, which obviously revolutionized everything, and every (major) game after that was way more action focused, and the stories start to get super off the rails.

Code Veronica is definitely the start of the switch to action. Claire is essentially an action hero (at least during the cutscenes) and the story starts to become more global - not just based in Raccoon City. I still really like this game though.
