Consider a simple circuit containing a battery and three identical incandescent bulbs 1.2 and 3. Bulb 1 is wired in parallel with bulb 2 and this combination is wired in series with bulb 3 . What would happen to the brightness of the other two bulbs if bulb 1 were to burn out?
a. Only bulb 2 would get brighter.
b. Both 1 and 2 would get brighter.
c. Bulb 2 would get brighter and bulb 3 would get dimmer.
