1Blue Breaker Burst: Hohoemi o Anata to is the second entry in the Blue Breaker series and moved away from the RPG genre of the first entry from 1996. The series instead moved to the fighting game genre, this series was a trilogy of games from the mid to late 90s. Hohoemi o Anata to is the first of two games in the series that was released in 1998, with its sequel released just two months later.
Developed by HuneX Co and published by Human Entertainment and Hamster Corporation. Blue Breaker Burst: Hohoemi o Anata to, released exclusively on the PlayStation on the 23rd of July 1998, the game would also be released exclusively in Japan.
Blue Breaker Burst Hohoemi o Anata to would also receive a re-release as a part of the Major Wave Series in November of 2000, as well as a PSN release on the PSP and PS3 in 2008 and the PS Vita in 2012 in Hong Kong.
