Today I retrofit an "unused" Colony Ship into an outpost ship that can haul TONS of gear and resources, 8 crew , the best shields and engines and all of the crafting stations as well as an Armory and Capitan's quarters. It flows well and even with 10 people aboard you should have no trouble getting around. Truly a dream mobile outpost!
