A roguelike and deckbuilding tower defense game with a lot of replayability. I've played a few different tower defense games from Kingdom Rush to Bloons to Defenders Quest but this is the first time i've played one with a deckbuilding like mechanic.
In this game, you have to survive 50 waves defending your core in order to pass and you start off with one turret and a bunch of units called walls. These walls can be placed on the map for the turrets to be on as well as strategically together to lead the path for the enemies to go as the cannot pass through them. As you progress through the waves, you get a set of choices to choose from ranging from more turrets, upgrades for set turrets, abilities, more walls etc.
Because of the wide variation of decks you can build, each run differs and is fresh to suit your playstyle, whether it be to prioritise a certain few kind of turrets, which there are a range of, or have many of them in play. There is also a wide range of difficulty, which is easy to learn and get a hang of but can be hard to master, especially at the higher difficulties.
The graphics are nice with its simplistic colours and minimalist designs of the turrets. This is accompanied with some calming music and pew pew sound effects of the turret shots to give a chill feeling while playing. Overall, it's a pretty fun and a bit unique tower defense game that you can play in sessions and come back from time to time.
