In this video I'm showing off how to install the Corsair RMx Shift Series modular power supply unit. Including the logic of all the wiring for SSDs, HDDs, GPUs, motherboard connections and much more besides. I'll be showing you how to install the standard cables and the Pro PSU cable kit as well.

This is a modular power supply unit that includes Type 5 cables and an ATX 3.0 design that supports PCIe gen 5 connections for Nvidia's 40-series graphics cards. It's interesting though because the cables aren't mounted in the usual way, but instead come out of the side of the PSU, meaning they fit into the rear panel, which is perfect for dual chamber cases like the Corsair 5000D Airflow (seen in this build guide).
