Main chase theme for the titular Corvid. This is just a demo, and while I don't think this is bad, the actual soundtrack for the game when it comes out in like 30ish years will be better. This is also arguably the single most important track in the entire game, so it will probably go through the most revisions. You're going to be hearing this one a LOT.

The notes A, A#, A, Ab, A, A#, B, B# (forgive me if I typed that wrong, I can't read sheet music that well) heard commonly throughout this track is kind of the main motif of the game, and Corvid itself. I know it's a bit basic, but I think it works well. Plus, these notes are etched into my brain at this point, and it being even slightly different would feel extremely wrong to me.

If any music experts would like to give me tips, I would appreciate it! I've never really took a music theory class or anything before, and am basically completely self taught, so I'm bound to be missing some key aspects to making a song truly standout.

Okay, now here's the infodump I'll copypaste into all of my videos related to CORVID.

CORVID is a Metroidvania/Horror game, heavily inspired by Hollow Knight, where no matter where you go, no matter what you do, Corvid will always be after you. It is not currently in development, as I need to learn how to code, animate, etc, but it is my number one goal in life, so you best believe that (unless I suddenly die) it's gonna get made.

Traverse the caverns that humanity was forced to retreat to, and uncover everything you can about the 8-and-a-half foot tall humanoid blackbird creature constantly pursuing you, in the hopes that you may find a way to finally put an end to its decades long feathered pursuit against all of humanity.

Use the bones and organs of the monsters that lurk deep below to craft traps and lures to keep Corvid at a long distance, or try to fend it off with one of your weapons, but whatever you do, do NOT let it catch up to you. Or else, your own organs are what's going to be harvested.

Your journey will take you through an underground cliffside with horror around every corner, a neon town full of TV-headed residents, a manor haunted by the melting remnants of the past, a circus looking to perform a dark ritual, and more. But no matter where you are - barring a few safe rooms and a certain hazy maze - Corvid will not give up pursuit.

Seek the Diamond, and end the curse. Never stop moving. Remember that while time is on your side, that won't be quite enough to save you. Never gaze into the face of an angel, beware the eyes on wires - and good luck.
