Could Ghosts and the New CBS Vampire Comedy Crossover?
19Just before San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that Ghosts showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman’s new vampire comedy series Eternally Yours had been given a pilot order. When I spoke with Port and Wiseman back in May, they revealed that they’d originally written the pilot for the series a decade ago, and while it didn’t get picked up at the time, its existence is why they were tapped to work on the American adaptation of Ghosts.
When the cast came by the Collider studio this weekend at SDCC, Perri Nemiroff took the opportunity to pose the question of a shared universe to Asher Grodman, Danielle Pinnock, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Devan Chandler Long, all of whom were extremely on board. “I hope so,” said Ambudkar, rooting for Port and Wiseman to turn the two shows into a franchise. “Yeah," Ambudkar continued, "that'd be so exciting if these guys can make their own little universe, that would be amazing."
