One of the standout announcements from San Diego Comic-Con 2025 during the Hellaverse panel was that Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump is officially joining Hazbin Hotel Season 2 as Abel, the son of Adam. Creator Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano shared the story of how Stump came on board during an interview with Perri Nemiroff at the Collider Interview Studio, and why his voice was the perfect fit for the character, and that his joining the cast happened remarkably fast.
