A new cutscene shows the robot factory on planet Quartu. At a point, we notice Clank with red eyes. Could these red eyes mean anything at all?

Klunk is robot that looks exactly like Clank. Klunk or Clunk, was an evil counterpart created by Dr. Nefarious in Up your Arsenal. He was designed to spy every Ratchet's move.

Klunk also appeared in a spin-off game Secret Agent Clank. He was the main villain in the game.

Could Klunk be Clank himself this time around? Klunk was a separate robot, so this might kind of be confusing. Maybe Insomniac Games just added in the red eyes for reference, who knows. At the end of the day, this might not even be Klunk.
