Welcome to launch gameplay for How to Survive 2, the newest zombie survival craft-em-up developed by EKO Software and published by 505 Games!
How to Survive 2 is an isometric action RPG/shooter with base-building elements. Play solo or co-op with friends as you bolster your defenses, scavenge for supplies, and crack zombie heads in and around the state of Louisiana.
Up to four players can play locally on the same machine, and up to 16 players can play online together. You can establish public camps to meet other players, and protect these camps with traps and other constructible resources.
Combat is real-time, which means you'll have to pay attention if you want to survive. There's a variety of melee weapons and firearms to find, and players can climb and mount objects to escape from foes.
Mission locations are procedurally generated, and the game has an impressive variety of tilesets to keep things fresh. Environments are chock full of small details, and augmented with a slew of nice graphical effects. Combat sounds are satisfying and punchy.
The game also features several different quest types, which helps alleviate the montony so common in these types of games.
