Detached is a new "PvP Virtual Reality Experience" by Anshar Studios, a relatively new development company founded by veterans of City Interactive Games, famous for publishing titles like "Sniper" and "Lords of the Fallen".

Detached is still in early access, which means most of its planned features are not yet available. As of now, Detached offers a brief single-player tutorial and an online capture-the-flag mode against one other player.

Detached offers a relatively smooth VR experience. I personally found the control scheme a little off putting, but they are far from terrible and it only takes a few matches to adapt. It would be nice if players could change their keybinds, but this might be included in future updates.

As it stands, Detached doesn't offer much we haven't seen, but if it sees substantive updates from the developer, I believe it has potential to be an enjoyable arena VR experience.
