There are some space oddities going on here. The battle is rather incomplete. Several sound effects and animations are missing, and there's no voice acting. When the battle begins, the enemy just pops out from out of nowhere instead of flying slowly down, and Crash just disappears without dancing when you defeat him.

The battle itself is also different. First of all, he's now only got four lives, so the final phase where he shoots a green laser thing out of the front is missing. During the first missile phase, he shoots one extra missile that explodes in mid-air above you. Hm. He also shoots three missiles in the second phase.

That concludes the fourth warp room and just the home stretch remains.
