I decided that this last video for my playthrough of this game be in HD.

INCREDIBLE! Crash has collected all 42 Gems, alongside the 25 Crystals he had before. Like the Crystals, the Gems are capable of powering machines, too.

N. Brio may not be a hero, but he still hates Cortex now, which is why he wanted Crash to help him destroy his ship.

To go to Brio, just fly upward out of the 5th Warp Room, the same way you had to use in order to fight Cortex. The following cutscene replaces the one with Crash & Coco on N. Sanity Beach had you beaten Cortex already.

Instead, we are shown a tower of all of the Gems Crash has collected throughout the entire game, including the 5 Colored Gems at the bottom.

Crash, Coco, and N. Brio are on the sight of Brio's super laser. Surrounding them are the two islands of Crash 1. After this game, we won't be seeing Brio anymore for a while.

With N. Brio's say, Crash fires his laser. It appears right out of the corner of Australia, straight towards the super Cortex Vortex, blowing it up into pieces with a single blast.

So once again, with the help of Coco, and the unlikely assistance of Dr. Nitrus Brio, the world was saved, thanks to Crash Bandicoot...

At least for the moment. Near the very end of the credits, you can hear Cortex laugh his evil laugh, again. This shows that Crash may really see him again.
