I took a longer break on this game than I intended since I was so focused on some of my other games, such as Overwatch and Smash 4, but now I'm back to finish both this and Ape Escape 2 off once and for all!
--------------

After beating the evil trio of Dr. Neo Cortex, Uka Uka, and their new superweapon, Crunch, they realize that they could still have a chance against Crash and his friends if they gather all of the Gems.

So now, after getting all of the Crystals, you must now get all of the Gems, and in order to do that, you must also get all of the Relics!

After beating Crunch Time, an extra Warp Room chamber is unlocked. This chamber is in the computer room that was shown at the very beginning when Coco was setting up the Warp Room to be used. In order to use all of the levels in this chamber, they need a certain amount of Relics, with the number going up by 5 going from the leftmost to the rightmost level in the change.
--------------

Just like in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, a Time Trial can be accessed from any level that you've already gotten its Crystal out of. If you get a good record on it, you can get a Relic. It starts out as a Sapphire Relic, but you can upgrade it to Gold or even Platinum if you beat the left with even faster records.

Although there is no goal for doing so like there was in Crash 3, my personal goal is to beat every Time Trial with no Sapphire Relics, meaning I only get either Golds and Platinums.

The Time Trial is a little bit easier on you compared to Crash 3, because unlike that game, your Aku Aku masks will stay on you even after you grab the clock. You can even get two of them, restart the level during a trial, and then go through the trial again with no changes. This makes getting invincibility easier.

On top of almost everything else, these Time Trials are why you get the Speed Shoes/Crash Dash again after beating Cortex. That power is specifically made to make getting Relics in this game easier.

Regardless of all of this, I've recorded these trials on a literal trial-and-error process. So I'm done with my custom "SKIP!" messages and will just go straight to the level after warping into it from the Warp Room. Also, if the music is already running when my video reaches the level, it means I've tried a Time Trial of this more than once, and I just skipped over to the one that I've successfully done. This also means that the amount of Aku Aku masks I have before and after I enter the level will probably fluctuate between two, one, and none.

Besides, those atrociously-long loading times are still there for me to skip in my videos. I'm still doing you all a favor, here.
