After beating all of Dr. Wily's Robot Masters for the second time, Mega Man gains access to an elevator that leads him to a straight path towards the mad doctor himself.

Right when he thinks he's found him, Mega Man is trapped by concentrated Evil Energy from Wily. Just when it appears that Mega Man is helpless and Wily prepared to blast him into oblivion, Duo comes to the rescue and shields Mega Man from the blast, while also pushing back Wily and destroying his beam cannon.

Before Wily could just kill both of them, Proto Man comes to Duo's rescue to take him out of the fight, leaving his little brother, Mega Man, to deal with Wily on his own in their 8th final showdown.
--------------

The Wily Machine #8 still has weapons on it even after Duo's intervening, such as a buzzsaw that either rolls straight out and back, or bounces away. The machine's mouth also has a cannon, but you can easily stop it from firing with the Flame Sword.

To deal damage, you just have to focus your attacks on the machine's eyes where Wily is. Even after you destroy the machine, Wily still has the 8th version of his Wily Capsule ready to school you with.

Despite the similar attacks to its Mega Man 7 counterpart, as well as the lack of Energy Tanks in this game, this final boss is much easier to fight, let alone survive against in this game. However, as far as weapons go, you're better off just sticking with your charge Mega Buster when Wily reappears from teleporting.
--------------

Keep dodging all of his different attacks while blasting him with anything that will hurt him, and that capsule will eventually blow up, forcing Wily to give up and beg for mercy for the 8th time, ever.

Mega Man, realizing this, is sick of his lies and is finally ready to finish him off once and for all. But before he could do anything, all of the Evil Energy that Wily stored inside his Capsule grabbed him and started blowing up the entire Wily Tower.

This was slowly killing Mega Man and rendered him unconscious, but he was somehow able to escape the tower's destruction. Duo was forced to remove the Evil Energy out of him based on all of Mega Man's past memories of fighting for Everlasting Peace. Duo then had Proto Man take the unconscious-but-cured Mega Man back home. Dr. Wily had escaped once again, but for now, the world was saved once again, as well.

The voice of Mega Man's little sister, Roll, had finally woken him up to a reunion of his family and friends, such as Dr. Light, Eddie, and Auto. Mega Man then went out with Rush in the evening, later on, wondering where Wily fled to. He met up with Proto Man again, where he let him know that Duo has left to preserve the peace elsewhere, having thanked Mega Man for all of his hard work. Mega Man, likewise thanks Duo back for all of his help.

The following credits first show off the names of the real life creators of this game's Robot Masters. This time, those creators' art is also shown alongside the sprite of what Capcom turned them into.

8 games! I've beaten 8 classic Mega Man games for YouTube at this point, and having reached the end of Mega Man 8, it would be years before Mega Man 9 would arrive.

When will I record a playthrough of that game? I have no idea, but I've been trying to prepare for that while making videos of this game. I know the method and Robot Master order of how I want to get through that game, but recording it with little error, considering its higher difficulty, is another story...

Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
