I had no idea there was a prototype version of Crash Bandicoot with several unused levels before someone sent me a private message the other day. Of course, I had to check them out. You've probably seen them before, as several people have uploaded them to Youtube already, but you haven't seen me playing it. So, I guess I'll be making some videos again then. I might even do the whole game if I feel like it, and if anyone wants to see it.

So, what can I say about this level? First of all, it's pretty glitchy. Especially in the beginning, where you can go pretty much everywhere. Oh, and what's with that animal just standing there? You can also get stuck, like on that plank where I got killed. The reason why I included that is because Crash some times start glowing after you die.

The level itself is unlike any other level in the game. There are no boxes and apples, and there are several things that never made it to the finished product. It's also quite hard. Especially when you have to jump from those very slippery platforms. You can't finish the level, though. Once you reach the top, it's a dead end. Looking at the other videos, it seems like you can be transported to Toxic Waste from this level, but that didn't happen here.

To sum it up, it's a quite good and challenging level that would have been a nice addition to the game.
