In today's episode of the "Twinsanity" playthrough, we head to the 10th Dimension, pursue Crash's evil counterpart after he kidnaps Nina, and collect some of the hardest gems in the game.

If you're just casually playing through the game and aren't concerned about getting all of the gems, then congratulations; with the Academy of Evil behind you, it's smooth sailing for the last three levels of the game. Sure, there's a good chance that you won't be completing "Rock-Slide Rumble", the second and final Humiliskate level, without a few deaths, but at least the stage is fast-paced. Plus, the final two stages are pretty lax, meaning that as long as you aren't trying to hastily rush through them, you can easily make up for lost lives.
However, if you're trying to 100% the game, "Rock-Slide Rumble", as well as the final hub area, "Twinsanity Island", will put you through the wringer. For the former, in addition to having to deal with all of the flaws from "Slip Slide Icecapades"- the inability to slow down or the ability to turn around- several of the gems are located in side-corridors that are pretty much walled off by TNT crates. Granted, two of these corridors can be safely entered with a well-timed jump, but for the one housing the red gem, you have to go inbetween two columns of TNT crates at just the right angel without jumping. If only we had a magical mask with us who, in prior games, could protect us from these crates.
Though speaking of Aku Aku and his lies of protection, he's part of the reason why the silver gem on Twinsanity Island is a pain in the ass to get. You see, in order to get this gem (without relying on a belly slam glitch that tricks out the gem's hitbox:    • Crash Twinsanity Cheat  ), you need to roll a ball through an obstacle course, complete with spinning cylinders and moving platforms that have no walls whatsoever. And to add insult to injury, this obstacle course is over water that's deep enough to kill you if you fall in.
