Crash Twinsanity - Episode 2: Flight of the Worm, Fall of a God
In today's episode of the "Twinsanity" playthrough, we save Cortex from bees and Papu Papu's tribe, as well as defeat a Totem God, Tikimon.
Crash's intelligence may be questionable, but no one can deny that he's got a soul of a hero. I mean, here Cortex has constantly subjected Crash to physical and emotional abuse over the years, yet the latter does everything he can to protect the former from harm as he's swarmed by bees, followed by saving the mad scientist from Papu Papu's tribe after they kidnap him, simply because he was asked to help. Granted, Crash's attempt to save Cortex from the tribe resulted in the latter careening over a waterfall, but at least his heart was in the right place.
Though after saving Cortex, we get to team up with him again as we face the game's second boss, Tikimon.
For me, Tikimon's boss fight's a mixed bag. On the one hand, I love Tikimon's design and the background music is one of my favorite songs period. But on the other hand, Tikimon is one of the easiest bosses I've ever encountered. Essentially, all you have to do is run around the perimeter of the arena, throw Cortex into Tikimon's mouth when he summons in his minions, and repeat until you win the fight. Heck, Tikimon's minions are more of a threat since they can potentially overwhelm you with their numbers.
