Heyo! Me and my brother pulled out another review for you folks, before I wrap up my "20 From 1990" arcade series. This time around I took a couple extra days off from work to do a couple restaurant reviews, starting with a trip to Tigard, OR on downtown Main Street. This strip is packed with businesses from one end of the street to the other (and both connect with Hwy 99), and held a substantial place in our formative years-- karate school, busing from the Transit Center in our youths, family dinners at Yen's Chinese restaurant, quick grub at McDonald's, Halloween shopping at Value Village, etc. But our review is of BAILEY'S BURGER SHOP, which features "smash" type of patties, though they are delectably seasoned and with that agreeable taste of crispy char on the edges (definitely order a double). The chili is beanless but quite tasty and is the strong suit for a lot of Tigard-area patrons. Fries are well-salted, bigger than average and quite good as well. A bit pricey but we take this in stride simply because of the garbage economy right now. Recommended stop in downtown Tigard. Hopefully soon their menu can expand with more exotic burger flavors, milkshakes, desserts, etc. like it used to have. Till next time, fellow grubbers!
