Another review! I had a recent 4 day weekend so we were able to coincide our days off for once, and did a review of the Portland staple HOTCAKE & STEAKHOUSE in SE Portland. Right off of bustling Powell Boulevard, this dinky little diner has a miniscule parking lot and a varied menu with a very old-fashioned feel to the place. This not only used to be a 24 hour diner (changed due to Covid), but the portions on some items used to be a lot bigger too (especially the chicken fried steak). The hotcakes fortunately are still really big. The flavor is still strong, just not all the portions are the size I remember. Still well worth swinging by.
