In this video we conclude our damage system refactor. Damage, and blocking damage are now handled via character effects, giving them much more versatility and modularity.
The block damage effect (much like the damage effect) now has a damage animation played depending on the intensity of the strike to the blocking character. The more powerful the attack, the more intense the blocking animation.
Damage collider scripts and functionality have all been updated to support the new "Take Damage" and "Take Blocked Damage" character effects.
