Create DARK SOULS in Unity ► EP. 127 Character Effects (Pt. 2)
In this episode we create the framework to process "Static Character Effects". We then test our new functionality by creating our first two effects!
A static character effect is an effect that is not dependent on time, and remains on the character until removed. These effects will typically be used when equipping items that add an effect to your character. (Rings, or other equipment)
We also create the base class for our regular effects, which will typically handle things that are tic/time dependent. This includes things like poison, curse ect.
