In this episode I'll show you how to create a tattoo with Substance Painter and explain how to export it with proper transparency. While it's fairly easy to paint directly on the Genesis figure's skin, it's less easy to extract the proper cutout opacity channels so that your projected tattoo can be exported separately. I'll also touch on the different projection methods we have inside Substance Painter (stencil vs warp projection). I'm using Fred 8.1 for this demo.

I have a German version that shows how this works with Genesis 9 (it's exactly the same, but less work): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BI1tpQbBH8
