33My distinguished colleague, friend, mentor, and former boss of 7 years, Dr. John C Sanford lays out the sobering reality humanity is dying because of accumulating heritable diseases.
This fact of genetic deterioration suggests the genealogy of Jesus can be read literally, and therefore the Christian Scriptures are from God himself.
I helped prepare some of the slides in the video for Dr. Sanford such as the "bonkers equation" from the Poisson distribution specifically when he talks about how each human female needs to have between 44,000 to 10^35 kids to prevent genetic deterioration.

That publication frames Genetic Entropy with an improved notion of fitness that is free from the vacuuous tautological circularities used in population genetics which does not factor in biological complexity. That publication makes even more forceful the claims put forward in that distinguished lecture by Dr. Sanford.
Dr. Sanford is a retired Cornell research professor, famous genetic engineer. His invention, the Gene Gun, is in the Smithsonian National Museum of American history because a sizeable fraction of genetically improved organisms were synthesized by this Gene Guns.
