'Credits 1 (The Bad Ending)' - Dawless Modular Synth
'Credits 1 (The Bad Ending)' - recorded 08-29-25
I wanted to do a little more, but my Sample Drum froze when I was starting to work on it's second channel... the module kept working, but I couldn't make any changes, and I really didn't feel like reloading/slicing all of the drum loops that were loaded on channel 1, so I left it alone. I like how it turned out. I added some DX7 patches onto my plaits, and everything started there.
Drums - Erica Synths Sample Drum & Alesis HR-16B, sequenced by Keystep Pro/Beatstep Pro, ratcheted by 2HP Slice, which was triggered by ALM's Pamela's New Workout.
Bass Drum - Tiptop Audio BD909. Sequenced by Beatstep Pro.
Voice 1 (bass) - Mutable Instruments Plaits (Orange DX7 patch), sequenced by Keystep Pro.
Voice 2 (main melodic voice) - Cr8Audio Chips (both channels). Sequenced by Keystep Pro. The bitcrushing is from a copy of one of the Chips voices going into the Doepfer A-196 PLL.
Voice 3 (continuous higher pitched wailing) - Erica Synths Pico VCO and VCO2 (both channels), mixed via Dreadbox Eudemonia, and fed into Erica Synths Black Hole DSP2 (#18 - Servo Flanger). Sequenced by Keystep Pro.
Voice 4 (echo-ey arpeggiated voice) - Expert Sleepers Disting (MkII) setting 4/D (VCO with wave shaping), sequenced by Keystep pro, via 2HP Arp, triggered by ALM Pamela's New Workout, fed into Mutable Instruments Clouds.
Make Noise Maths does kick drum side chain compression on some of the voices.
Thanks for watching/listening!
