It's 10 November, and I'm too busy to do anything substantial regarding the USMC; so as a small remembrance of Marines past, present and future I'm adding my own two cents to Critical Drinker's spot on review of "The Rock" (1998). What does "The Rock" have to do with the US Marines you ask....the fictitious villains are supposed to be Force Recon Marines and Ed Harris as their general actually shown a light on a serious problem that Marines and servicemen everywhere faced in the late 90s.

I met many young Marines at the time who loved the movie especially for that reason, and though I forgot to mention it in the video, I also met some who resented the movie because Hollywood was making money off of their real world problems.

Anyway; Critical Drinker, if you ever see this I don't know what the youtube etiquette is on reactions to other youtubers...so if you want me to take it down just let me know, and I'll take it down.
