Croc 2 PlayStation Intro + Gameplay [No Commentary]
20I have a ton of games in my backlog that I've either never played or played very little. So I thought it might be fun to sample semi-random games and upload them so everyone can see how terrible I am at them!
So here we have a game called Croc 2 for the PlayStation. It was developed by Argonaut Software and published in North America by Fox Interactive in 1999. I love old school 90s platformers, but I was a little disappointed in the first Croc when I finally played it. I felt the controls hadn't aged well and found the game to be quite challenging as a result. This is my first time playing the sequel and I think it's a big improvement. The controls feel a lot more natural to me, but the camera is a little tough to get used to. You can't manually control it (at least not that I could figure out) and that really threw me off. The gameplay is similar to the first one, but still quite different. This game immediately felt like Banjo-Kazooie, which is a good thing since that's one of my favorite games (not just platformers) ever. I doubt it will reach the heights of that amazing game, but this one seems solid and I'll definitely be spending more time with it in the future. I captured this video on a PlayStation.
