Crowd Control Elite Heroes & Nordthion PVP Test
I’ve tested different hero combinations for Nord Thion using some elite heroes and this idea came up. My build for Nord Thion here is a Light Gap set for PVP with 45% crit rate 33% crit damage 31k attack and 0 accuracy on equipment. This hero has a total of 85k attack and his total accuracy is only 10.
I will test him in PVP trial mode and I already tested this line up multiple times and the result has a higher percentage of winning rate against summoner and vanguard combination lineups. But anyway this is only a test that will give you some insights.
I chose the heroes Poluno, Sorietta, Old John, Rez and Nord Thion using commander grace and flowing rune as my energy divine prototype.
I boosted Nord Thion with 4.5% damage reduction and 5% HP from commander passive stats just to make him a little bit tanky enough as a front line hero.
When the battle commences, you will see green numbers here which indicates that the commander buff is activated that gives +20% HPif 3 or more energy heroes are present in the battlefield. We cannot see some attack buffs icons here, because the game temporarily disabled those icons above the hero and it will be enabled maybe in the next patch. But still, those buffs are active but we cannot see it.
The theory behind this lineup is simple. Those energy heroes will slow the speed of the enemies by 80% that lasts for 5 seconds. Also, Old John cast a smoke bomb that slows enemies losing their speed by 80%. He also has a knock back skill that activates every 3 basic attacks and the equipment will be shown at the end of this video. Sorrieta has a knock back skill too which is called the Rage of Dragons and the talent effect of this produces a stun effect for 2 seconds. Kindly check Sorrietas skills description. Poluno is a crowd control AOE energy hero too, in which he can stop the push skill of Crete and stuns heroes for 0.5 seconds with his passive skill.
