Nordthion Final PVE Review and Vamparic build Eternal Evolution
I just want to share with you some information about what I experienced from using Nord thion in the Chapter Scenario mode. It drove my progress from Chapter 53 up to Chapter 57 and I managed to finish those chapters in 6 hours and of course there was a break in between. Maybe I was just active or a little industrious to do the Normal Chapter scenario clearing.
But anyway, Based on my experience, Nord thion’s best equipment for PVE is the marauder set with damage reduction boots and you don’t need an Accuracy helmet for it and it would be best if he is in level 30 exclusive equipment.
In stage 55 and above, in most cases, the purpose of Leo is just to buy time for Nord to cast his Ultimate skill. After that, it will be Nord and Rez who will control the battlefield and healer support is not needed because you will need damage dealing heroes to defeat super tanky enemies. The vamparic Nord build will serve as your healing and Luke and combinations like Daniel, Anpu, Ravenna and Pulono depending on your style, is what you will need throughout the rest of the chapters.
This guy here and similar monsters are super tanky and if you will use Masrani in replacement for any of your damage dealing heroes, then the 2 minute battle time is not enough, resulting in failure. In my own opinion, I think Nord Thion was released mostly for Chapter Scenario clearing, PVP against summoners and gamemodes that need AOE skills like in the Guildhunt spider and Crimson Rot.
Speaking of Crimson Rot, that will be the testing site for the two sets of equipment. I have here my PVE build Nord thion using a Marauder set with damage reduction boots. The best crit rate here should be in between 60% to 70% depending on your taste and +100 Accuracy helmet is not needed here since this is an EX30 hero and this is solely based on my experience. Additional Crit damage from the Marauder Set will be added when Nord casts a displacement skill and he will gain +80% crit damage. This crit damage cannot be seen on your stats and my total crit damage when Nord cast his ultimate skill will be 96% crit damage. The rest of the stats should be attack and it would be best to have an attack substats.
This will simply explain why the Marauder Set is best in the chapter clearing scenario, in the elite chapters and maybe in PVP. Take a look at this crimson rot battle in which nord can solo this level 6 boss without dying.
I also have some Surge equipment in which At the right is the Crit Build Surge equipment and on the left is the pure attack surge. We are not comparing the damage here but we are comparing the survivability of the hero.
In my own opinion, Nord was built mainly for survivability simply because he is a close range energy hero and vamparic gears is what he needs. The longer he stays in battle, the more chances that you will win or clear the stages or chapters. This Crimson Rot boss using the marauder set will take forever because Nord will not die here.

I am using here commander Grace, Flowing Rune and Prism amulet. You can also use pain rune and commander Hagradon here, but I prefer a faster regeneration of energy provided by the flowing rune so that energy heroes can cast their ultimate skill in no time. Using Commander Grace and Flowing rune is an offensive strategy while using hagradon and pain rune can maybe be called a defensive strategy. The 3 key heroes here are Nord, Rez and Luke and they should not die early in the battle. Leo is just a sacrificial lamb here while Ravenna can be replaced by any hero like Daniel or Anpu. Ravenna is excellent but her only problem is her reach that is why she is a temporary hero in this lineup.
The benefits of clearing the chapter scenario mode are diamonds, resources in leveling of heroes and most of all, it will sharpen your mind on how every hero works in the game using best strategies.
