2Starting mid-game, I'll walk you through some of the features and mechanics of Avorion, trying to nail the most important ones in JUST the right order... but there IS some kinda important stuff at the very end if you're about to get started.
Avorion is a TREMENDOSLY ambitious and interesting game. It does procedural generation in some of the best ways I've ever witnessed. From NPC factions, Ship Generation, Weapon and Gear drops... there's a lot of things in here to keep you interested.
HOWEVER!!! It IS still in Early Access... and you WILL be able to tell at times. Dedicated servers exist but are small, and what you'd expect from a title that just released on Steam a short while ago.
