Crusader to Legend: How to Get Easy Win with 6 Minutes Dagger using Axe
8One of the oldest textbook plays for Axe, creep blocking. A simple guide on how you can climb the MMR ladder using Axe's creep blocking. You can use it even in lower ranks, lower than Crusaders. This may not apply to all and not on higher ranks. So use with caution. Have fun and goodluck!
Step 1: Buy a Tango, an Observer Ward and Two Stout Shields
NOTE - Two Stout Shields do not stack, but the proc chances for blocking do stack. Read here https://dota2.gamepedia.com/Damage_block#Stacking
Step 2: Place the ward for protection and knowing the enemy position whenever they try to stop you from blocking.
Step 3: Block the creep until you earned enough gold for a blink dagger. You can pull the creeps into a camp or just stay in lane and hide after killing a wave. Make sure to not miss a wave.
Step 4: Buy a "Blink Dagger" and you have two choices, either you wreck havoc across the map directly or just stay in your lane until you destroy the tier 1 tower then wreck havoc.
NOTE: Make sure to shutdown their late game carries or the ones with less deaths in the scoreboard. Create spaces and understand momentum and power spikes. Force clashes when needed and COMMUNICATE as much as possible. Also learn to counter enemy heroes with items.
