well here it is, my chiptune CotND album that covers all songs from the game :) i know there's already Virt's and Chipzel's albums they made for CotND, so this would be the 3rd rendition of the OST as chiptune lol. but it's because of their music that i wanted to cover this game's music, cuz Virt's + Chipzel's OST's inspired me to want to learn how to make chiptunes!!

also, i was gonna monetize this album and sell it thru buying a mechanical license, but it turns out that's WAY out of my budget lol, at least for right now. so you guys can have Cryptunes for free, and i'll eventually publish a different cover album later :)

when i first started this album, i had barely just learned how to use trackers (milkytracker specifically). i thought the best way to learn would be through taking it through the lens of Crypt's music and learning how to make dance grooves while mixing authentic chip sounds with some real instruments, like drums and keys. this is the result :D some of the songs from this were... "humble" in their approach lol. i really learned a lot from arranging all of this game, and i went back thru songs multiple times and redid them with new techniques a lot, mostly just re-mixing audio. it was a great way to see my learning and progress in real time. looking back, some of these songs are already outdated with new stuff i've learned, but i definitely still wanna share them with you all :) enjoy!

now with that said, what's next after Cryptunes?? well i wanna be a chiptune VGM artist! making music is pretty damn fun, so i wanna cement myself as a staple VGM cover artist channel with an emphasis on chiptunes. it'll take time but it sounds lots of fun! while i've been away from YT, i covered a lot of songs from Deltarune, Minecraft, Pokemon, & Celeste so i have a back catalogue that i'm really excited to upload. wanted to finish Crypt first tho :) I've also been learning how to use Davinci Resolve and Photoshop so i can properly edit videos and make thumbnails. i really wanna learn pixel art too, so maybe someday i'll have animations/thumbnails to tie my videos together! we'll see, but i hope you guys will join me on this ride cuz I wanna really try hard at this :D

and lastly, thanks to Danny B for making such an amazing soundtrack, it's a very important OST to me :) and thanks everyone for supporting me, i didn't realize how much my channel had silently and steadily grown! even just seeing the few comments welcoming me made me really happy :D
