Welcome to Rank S (ilver), where you only get the best of the worst CS:GO clips from my personal reserve of dank MLG shit. I have always been pretty mediocre at Counter Strike, even back in the Source days, and have only recently started to play competitive CS:GO. Even after 10+ years of playing the game casually, I haven’t really managed to get better but I still have my moments where I will get crazy clips and do awesome shit. Of course, as a dude who also likes to just record gameplay and edit it together, I have to do something with it all. This is where Rank S (ilver) comes into play.

What is Rank S (ilver)? Rank S (ilver) isn’t an actual rank or place in CS:GO but is instead a level of enlightenment that we may all reach at some point in our playtime as Silvers. When you just have one of those games where you are on point and it just feels like everything is going your way, you will reach Rank S (ilver). Once you go back to being shitty though you derank back to normal Silver tier. For those of you that don’t get the meme, in ESEA there is a rank called Rank S that is reserved for the best of the best (professionals, pug stars, high skill players, etc.) and in CS:GO match making there is a rank called Silver that is the absolute lowest of the low (idiots, autists, vegetables, etc.) When you combine these two you get the best of the worst in CS:GO – Rank S (ilver). In short, these are some decent gameplay clips I (and possibly my friends) have gotten over the last few months while playing at a low level. Hope you enjoy them even if they are scrub-tier.

I really like making and watching this type of video. There is something therapeutic about just cutting up some clips, putting some music behind them and doing quirky edits to try and keep things interesting and add flair. Now, don’t get me wrong CS:GO is interesting enough on its own, but I feel like since this isn’t real ESEA Rank S it could use a little flair. It is also fun to experiment with new editing techniques and try to hone my old ones by using them in new ways on a platform where it makes sense: Rank S (ilver). I hope to implement more funny stuff in the future as well since the Counter Strike community can be pretty hilarious sometimes. So can I. And my friends. Even though I only really have like one who plays this with me.

One more thing before I give up on trying to fill this description: I spent a retarded amount of time editing the thumbnail for this. I should have just kept it simple, but I had so many idea for the Rank S (ilver) premise and I just kept adding more and more stuff. Additionally, I wanted a logo that I could use for all future CS:GO videos in the series, so I spend some time making the “S” out of the Silver badge from Counter Strike. I don’t even know if ESEA has a Rank S badge or emblem, not that I would use it anyway: I really like how this logo turned out. I am pretty autistic about stuff like this anyway, so even though it took hours to get to a likable state, I enjoyed doing it and think it paid off in the end. Same with all of the editing that went into the actual gameplay clips for the video; pretty tedious and meticulously groomed, but I feel accomplished and really enjoy the finished product. Which is the main reason I do this shit, is because I want to enjoy it the most and then just hope that others dig it too.

I sometimes stream Counter Strike: Global Offensive here and on Twitch:

My Twatter always updates when I upload a video:

Thanks to Jesse (Spunky) for dealing with all my shitty plays, coaching, raging, and just general cancer. Also, just for being a bud and playing CS:GO with me when no one else will.

Hopefully I never make it into Gold Nova ranks again or else I will have to be creative and think of a new series title and fuck that shit.
