Cuphead DLC - Knight Boss/King's Leap 2 (The Delicious Last Course - PS4)
6The Delicious Last Course Cuphead DLC. Finishing the original game was one of my proudest gaming achievements of recent years, as generally me and really, really difficult games don't really get on, especially now I'm in the later half of my forties. I was in two minds about whether to pick up the DLC for this very reason, as much as I loved the original, it was a relief once I finally killed the Devil.
This is the 2nd King's Leap Challenge where you can't use charms or weapons, you can only parry. This guy was proving very annoying until I sussed out what attack came after each of the telegraphing animations. The one where he charges across the screen you can actually jump and parry, but I found that unless my timing was absolutely spot on, I'd normally take damage, so it became easier to roll underneath him. After the roll, there never seemed to be enough time to parry his back while he was in his recovery animation, so it became easier to just wait for his next attack.
